Crown Royal and NASCAR Race Mom Say Thank You To Local Hero

Please help me win my first of two Crown Royal Challenges – It is so very simple and so very important. Just click on the link below and retweet. If you want to ‘favor,’ that would be a plus.

If you would share with your friends and family, it would be greatly appreciated!

Crown Royal and NASCAR Race Mom thank local hero Dave Geary
for all his service with a bottle of Crown Royal Black.
NASCAR Race Mom had a tough time scheduling an interview with Dave Geary. This man keeps busy. Besides working his own computer repair business, Dave’s Computer Repair And Sales, Dave is also very involved in charity work.

This morning he and his motorcycle friends, the American Legion Riders, were busy serving as an escort for a young man who had to have his leg amputated in order to save his life.

He is preparing for a ride across the United States for “The Eliminate Project.” With The Eliminate Project, Kiwanis International and UNICEF have joined forces to eliminate maternal and neonatal tetanus; a deadly disease steals the lives of nearly 60,000 innocent babies and a significant number of women each year.

On Tuesday (06/17/2014), Dave will be flying off to Africa to deliver two dozen computers for orphanages and schools, at no cost to the recipients.

Dave Geary is also a retired U.S. Air Force Disabled Veteran who has lived in Escondido, CA since January 2000.

In 1991, Staff Sargent David M. Geary distinguished himself by meritorious achievement while participating in sustained aerial flight as a KC-10A Flight Engineer Technician on the Saudi Arabian Peninsula. The airmanship and courage he exhibited in the successful completion of important air refueling missions, under extreme hazardous conditions, demonstrated his outstanding proficiency and steadfast devotion to duty. Geary retired from the Air Force in 1994.

However, like most of the protagonists, NASCAR Race Mom has interviewed, Geary really does not talk much about his accomplishments. He would rather discuss his children; three of his six are currently serving in the military.

Of course we had to discuss some NASCAR. Geary is a new NASCAR Fan. “My girlfriend introduced me to NASCAR about two years ago. She knows all about the drivers and rules!”

Just like John Wayne Walding, the winner of the annual Crown Royal’s “Your Hero’s Name Here” program, Dave has never been to a NASCAR Race event. However, he would love to experience one in person. Dale Jr. is his favorite driver and we chortled about Jr.’s pass for the win past “Bad Brad” in the last race at Pocono.

It was a real pleasure to spend time with Dave Geary and thank him for all he sacrificed by partnering with Crown Royal to present him with a bottle of Crown Royal Black.  Geary is not only a Air Force hero; he continues to serve as a community leader.
